Add A Second Blog Archive
When you go to Template -> 'Page Elements' you'll notice that it only lets you add one Blog Archive widget. If you already have one on your page it just says "Already added" instead of giving you the "Add To Blog" button
There's an easy way around this limitation however. Just go to Template -> 'Edit HTML' and leave the 'Expand Widget Templates' checkbox unchecked. Now find the line that reads
<b:widget id='BlogArchive1' locked='false' title='Blog Archive' type='BlogArchive'/>
and just copy and paste it to wherever you want, making sure to give it a new id. Naming it BlogArchive2 does the trick. And now you can have multiple Blog Archive widgets and change each one's options independently (which gives you the possibility of having a hierarchy, flat list, and drop-down in the same blog).
The Page Header & Profile widgets have similar limitations but you can also add multiple ones of these too by copying and pasting from the Edit HTML page.
